"Super Mom Model"-TJ

I am so happy to share with you these pictures! This beautiful woman is my friend, TJ. She is a mother of seven!!! You heard right, seven. I know, I know... she. is. gorgeous, right?!

Her kids love her,

her husband loves her,

I love her!!! 

She's very easy to love:)

TJ is a woman of grace. This woman is not afraid to share with you about her relationship with Jesus. She will tell you that He is her source of strength. She credits Him for all the good in her life. She's humble and trusts God wholeheartedly.


Recently she opened her own business, Thomasina's Cookie Pizza. And wrote a children's book, Mama, When will I be popular? 


 I am impressed...you should be too.

She is the FIRST of a new series on my blog, where I showcase the amazing moms in my life.

I already have some other mom-friends that are game.

1.Share with us something that's makes you "happy"? It can be anything. The fact that I have figured out what I am supposed to be in life helps. I believe happiness is based on happenings. Though knowing that I will live forever with Jesus makes me REALLY happy/joyful too :)


2.I know you have your hands so full, what's the main thing that keeps you sane? My faith, my ability to refer back to that when all else seems bleak.


3.You're so gorgeous, could you share your favorite beauty secret? Thank you, I would say that one thing I can't see myself with out is eyebrows waxed! LOL That opens up my face and is an inexpensive way to feel pretty. All else is in the genes!

4.Must be crazy trying to please everyone in your house with dinner, what's the #1dinner-winner?  I have a two-fer for ya! #1 homemade Chinese food! Take that left over chicken, beef or pork and pasta noodles chop up the chicken and re-season with soy sauce and ginger. Take some left over rice and egg with soy sauce or make a fresh pot of white rice and Ka-pow! My other fave is shepherds pie.

5.What's your favorite place to shop for clothes, shoes, and accessories? My best friends closets! I love stuff that has a "new to me" feel. I make it work in ways they never thought of :) if it helps the names on the tags are B.R., Ann Taylor Loft and forever 21. You can also get the look-for-less at Target :)


6.What's your "now" color? Mine is orange, but it changes weekly. Same! I love the compliments I get when I wear orange. 
 

7.What's your favorite spring look for 2011 so far? Mine would be maxi skirts, can't wait to find some... Wrap jersey dresses! I have a heather grey on and I am going to rock the mess out of the other ones I find.


8.Do you have a favorite quote or inspiration poem or verse? Something that really lifts your spirits? I would have to say right now is a line from Kirk Franklin song : "Even though I hurt I smile,  "I know God is working so I smile... Even though I've been here for a while I smile, You look so much better when you smile"

9.If you could pick just one thing you've learned about being a mom, what would it be? Character is important. They do what you do more quickly than what you say.





10.You are such a confident woman yet you seem so humble, it's really beautiful, I know you probably

credit the Lord for that, but do you have anything to share that will help the rest of us? Thank you so! I have been humbled by the world and that has made me appear humble. Having no confidence in yourself is the key, ironically. Having all confidence in the Lord is the true beauty that He promises we will all have when we trust ;)

okay, last question...

11.Did you have fun on your "super mom model" shoot? You look like you did?;) I HAD SOOO MUCH FUN! The photographer was AWESOME! It's so fun to "play dress up" and model in front of complete strangers who are wondering what is this all about?! LOL It is one of those experiences that everyone should have at least once!

I know, silly question. 

I was there. 

YES, she had fun...and she froze her poor fingers off;)
