. . .
I worked hard to fit into that dress!
Like Jillian Michaels says, "You want results?! They're NOT coming for free!"
Originally planned on getting into it by Christmas.
Nope. Not happening. Couldn't even zip it a little.
So, it turned into my Valentine's dress, which worked out perfectly!
I had planned on wearing it for my Grandmommy,
(she loves it when her girls dress up for the holidays)
but wearing it for the hubby was even better;)
I still have a little weight to lose to be pre-pregnancy weight,
but I'm happy with my progress.
You can do it too!
I am a huge DVD-workout kinda girl! I love group fitness at the gym too, but I know how hard it is if you're a mommy just get out of the house sometimes. Pop that video in and just do it! When it's over, you're done and a workout completed is the best feeling! I try to workout when my kids are napping, but often (like most days) my workout gets interrupted, crying baby, toddler that doesn't want to nap... I hit pause sometimes three or four times in, sometimes the kids are in the same room playing or in a bouncer or swing...No matter how many times I pause it, I get back in there and finish it. I have to, I need to feel good to be the best mommy I can be to my kiddos.
"To encourage means to give someone else courage"
I want to encourage all you moms out there.
Working out isn't always fun.
I know. I'm tired too.
But if you stick with it, it can make you feel so good.
It's not just about fitting into a dress we've wanted to wear.
Or getting thin.
It's about taking care of our bodies, so we can be the mommies that our kiddos need.
I want to be able to run and play-wrestle with my kiddos...and maybe even with their kiddos.
and
It's also about being the best we can be. You know if you're being the best YOU.
So...
Start today.
Put on some workout clothes
roll that Yoga mat out
or lace up those tennies .
Something.
Take care of YOU so you can take care of those little ones.
Have a great weekend guys!

What was your pre pregnancy weight? What was your weight after you gave a birth and now? I am on my 30th week and have +13 kg! Hope to go back to my size as fast as possible after delivery!
I would say you're doing great! My weight gain is about pound per week too!
Congratulations to you!
My pre-pregnancy weight was 125-130lbs Soon after birth I was probably about 150-ish. I now weigh about 135. I know that sounds like a lot, but I have a lot of muscle:)
I'm starting tonight, I've been a huge bum allllllllllllll winter, boo!
You should come over, barbie and do yoga with me once a week...
Yay! How exciting! I need to be more motivated!
You look amazing! Congrats and what a beautiful outfit!
i agree! whenever i get lazy about being healthy, i try to remember that it's a heck of a lot faster to chase after my baby healthy than it is heavy!
