I often send my husband with a list, but he's good about picking stuff up on his own. Like the HUGE tub of white cheddar cheese puffs he picked up last weekend.;) Thank goodness I sent those to work with him on Monday.
but...
He also brings home healthy items, like this pretty pomegranate.

So this morning I thought I'd send G some pomegranate yogurt in her lunch.
It's been so long since I'd cut one, I decided to google the best way to go about it and of course share my delightful experience.
- Cut off the flowery end of the pomegranate.
- Score into sections.
- Place in a bowl of water.
- Allow fruit to soak for a minute.
- Break the sections of the fruit open in the bowl of water.
- Allow the seed kernels to separate from the rind and sink to the bottom.
- Discard the rind and drain the kernels.

Plain yogurt, drizzled with honey, topped with pomegranate. YUM!

Enjoy, we did:)
