This was our Halloween deco...LAST YEAR! I got the idea from a magazine. My daughter and I had fun making the hands. It wasn't expensive at all. I think total about $15. Got most of the supplies at the dollar store.
Here's what you need to do to make your own...
- 1 package of clear vinyl gloves (I think I either found them at the dollar tree or Wal-mart)
- Candy (enough to fill the gloves) I attempted to make a "pair" of hands...so enough of one color to do that.
- I cut up black licorice to make fingernails and I used peppermints in one (as you can see)
- strong packing tape to tie off the ends and to hang ribbon on the inside of the door.
- ribbon
So there ya have it!
Not sure what I'm going to do this year. My family LOVES candy corn! Wanted to make this pretty wreath. But I'm thinking it can't get rained on for sure...and yeah, I will undoubtedly forget to bring it in.
What is some of your fun holiday deco?

That decoration last year was so neat. I love that candy corn wreath. Looks delicious, but yea I think it would ruin in the rain here too.
