Fall Mini Sessions: Kari & Family

So I started my "short and sweet shoots" last week! I have eight confirmed shoots on my calendar! If you live in Maryland and would like to get in on my special, contact me asap. Very happy to be shooting again...and so far it hasn't been too stressful for my family. I feed the baby, change his diaper and put him in his favorite (the swing) and I'm off for a quick shoot, just down the street. Bobby has been great! He's always been a hands on daddy! Even had dinner ready after an evening shoot! Having three kiddos is a new challenge, but so far we've been able to adjust. Okay, if you don't count the neverendingpilesoflaundry!!!;) But this post isn't about that.

It's about this cute family!

So even though these are mini shoots and according to my "flyer" they're supposed to only be 10 pictures...I can't help myself. I can't always promise more than ten, but I would be very surprised if I didn't give you a handful more;)



Kari's family was picture perfect! Even down to their time etiquette. I was not as timely. I wasn't late...but since they were a tad early, I did make them wait a few min. I know. BAD photographer. In my defense...this was my first shoot after baby;) I'm getting up several times a night with Gibson still, so this momma needs her morning coffee-but did I have time for it? nope. It was a rush rush rush morning. I was pretty embarrassed. no makeup. threw on some yoga pants. brushed my teeth and was out the door.





In spite of my lack of readiness. I think we got some GREAT shots of this cute family! Little girl M had me working, let me tell ya! She's the cutest thing ever, but does not like to sit still, but come on what toddler does? It's just been a while for me, so I wasn't prepared like I should have been. I should have worn my kid's cheese head hat or brought a stuffed animal. Never the less, we got her to smile! Big brother was a cutie! Listened really well.

And look at Mom & Dad...too cute!
