Here we are. Mid January. Have you been good with making the positive changes in your life? I've been trying... The holidays were rough. A few different strands of the flu hit our family, not to mention our move... resulting in my fitness commitment coming to a screeching halt...and then. my jeans were uncomfortably tight.
Now we're still in transition, and my workout DVDs are in storage, and we no longer have cable (I loved free on demand workouts) which means... I have to go all use my imagination style workouts. It's not a bad thing. Just different. I'm reminded of when I taught yoga (the glory days:)
I've been really enjoying my new workouts. Thought someone might wanna try them...
I use:
Pandora Club/dance radio
Netflix (Barney and Sesame Street keep my little ones entertained sometimes) Or I use their nap-time to workout.
Yoga Mat
Jump Rope (I got mine from target for $5)
Forearm weights
Total jump rope, 5 sets of 100, each set of 100 done in between mat work...total workout will take between 30min-60min.
Wearing the weights the entire time really isn't awkward at all while doing yoga.
Jumping rope in between flows and yoga poses.
Even if you don't know any yoga, I STRONGLY encourage you to get the weights and a jump rope. Do what you can do, but just DO SOMETHING. For your health, for your family, for yourself.
Eating healthy is great! BUT as we know, it's not enough...

Thanks for sharing your routine. I am getting back in the swing of things, adios post baby body! ;) It's always nice to see what other women are doing to stay fit.
