Friday I read a blog post that made me cry.
I have thought about it a lot this weekend.
I couldn't stop thinking about this woman.
Had my "gut-feeling" confirmed this morning by reading on a facebook page made in her memory.
I'm sad.
But comforted by Rick Warren's writings:
Life on earth is a temporary assignment.
The Bible is full of metaphors that teach the brief, temporary, transient nature of life on earth.
Life is described as a mist, a fast runner, a breath, and a wisp of smoke.
The Bible says,
"For we were born yesterday...our days on earth are as transient as a shadow."
To make the best use of your life, you must never forget two truths:
First: Compared with eternity, life is extremely brief.
Second: earth is only a temporary residence. You won't be here long, so don't get too attached.
Ask God to help you see life on earth as he sees it.
David prayed,
"Lord, help me realize how brief my time on earth will be.
Help me know that I am here but a moment more."

i know, its so sad... i keep thinking abt it to... and how happy gina seemed any time i spoke to her... i just dont understand.. and i dont think any of us ever will. i just pray her family does seek counsel because they will need it after all this...
our lives are so short... i will cherish every second with my children tho and pray i get to see them grow old and have kids as well. i dont want to leave before then but know the Lord has numbered our days and sometimes this happens.
I love the truth in knowing though that even tho we do depart here and from loved ones, that we do have the assurance in knowing that if they are believers we will see them again some day :) and never have to part again!
