Everything's fine...Just put on a little lipstick

The kids and I stopped at two yard sales this past Saturday. My mama(both of them)would have been proud! I found some fun stuff and for great prices. The kids saw this adorable white chair from the street. I just knew it would be like $10 at least, but nope. Two bucks! shnag! The kids have been fighting over it today, but it's really mine...for photo shoots of course;)I like how it's taller, like a stool. Bobby even used it this weekend to cut Greg's hair in.

Next I see this cute and may I add bright pink plaque. I couldn't resist it! It's pink and has such a positive and silly girlie quote. And at at a 75 cent price...um, yeah! It will be hanging in my bedroom above my vanity table. I bet Bobby is thrilled. lol

Some of you know this, but I've been working on jewelery to sell in my Etsy shop that I hope to open in the next couple months. Those of you not familiar with etsy.com. Etsy is this awesome web-site that allows anyone to open their own on- line store. It's limited to handmade stuff, vintage pieces and craft supplies. My shop is going to be called Gigi Al a mode! Gigi is my kiddos initials. yes, A la mode means "served with ice cream" but the real meaning is in the current fashion or in style, latest fashionable, stylish. I'm super excited! I hardly have time these days to do anything, but I work on my jewelery to relax. I plan on opening shop when I have ten pieces. I have three right now. So it may be a while. I am also on the lookout for vintage pieces. I found this feminine set this weekend!!!!
I can't bare to sell it...so no, this one will not be in my shop. I have to save some pieces to pass down to my girl GI;)
